We’ve had a great start to the year in leasing. There are an unusually high number of people looking to rent for this time of year, so well presented properties are leasing quickly to quality tenants. Our hard working leasing agent, Sophie Tesoriero, says this is the busiest February in rentals she has experienced. Twelve of her properties were leased after only one open for inspection, all bringing excellent rental returns. Studio and one bedroom apartments, and higher end properties with three or more bedrooms are proving particularly popular. We’re meeting a lot of people from interstate and overseas who are in the process of settling in Sydney, many to take advantage of our strong jobs market.
