I was a tenant in a 'budget' apartment. Despite paying relatively little rent, I was amazed at the good tenant service provided from all of the Hart Estate agents and the building owner. I stayed 5 years and estate agents changed several times, but the service never lapsed!. They fairly negotiated a temporary rent reduction when I was out of work during some months in covid lockdown. The staff politely reminded me to get up to date with rent when I missed a few payments accidentally.
All queries were responded to fairly and clearly, within an hour or two.
Estate agents phoned every time I wanted to speak to an agent in person. Basically, both tenants and owners are treated well.
Damages/repairs were clearly and fairly dealt with every time. The age of the building meant frequent water and electricity problems and breaking window panes or burst hot water systems or gas leaks!!! Every single concern was dealt with, simply, within hours. They have a responsive and helpful network of servicemen and tradesmen and the apartment owner supported quick and responsive and suitable repairs and replacements for anything that had deteriorated due to age. There was never any drama about having 'fair' repairs/issues/concerns addressed promptly and empathetically. I have been promised a full bond return after leaving the apartment sensibly clean and ensuring all of my personal belongings were removed from the apartment building grounds.
