Economists find link between Chinese immigration levels and Australian house prices

Many people are talking up the effect of Chinese buyers on Sydney property prices. Up until now, however, we haven’t been aware of any attempt rigorously to quantify that effect.

NSW Budget Disappoints First Home Buyers

The NSW Budget was delivered this week on 18 June 2013.

As expected, it failed to reinstate the First Home Owners Grant for existing properties, although the First Home Owners Grant on new homes was extended to 1 January 2016 (it was due to be reduced to $10,000 on 1 January 2014).

Does your home or investment property have a pool? All swimming pools in NSW must be registered by 29 October 2013

If you own a NSW property with a swimming pool, you need to be across the latest amendments to the Swimming Pools Act 1992. Owners of properties with a swimming pool must register their pools online by 29 October 2013.
